life is better

Life had been pretty crap filled for the past month to be honest. But God is good. My school had almost the whole week off so I flew over to Michigan to see my Kara. I haven't seen her in months. It was SOOO good to actually be with one of my best friends. No need to fake being happy, I just WAS happy. When you're with a true friend, its the most relaxing feeling I can think about. Just getting to be yourself is such a joy. I haven't had that feeling in a LOOOONG time.

I'm writing this from my home. I flew back yesterday (traveling was TERRIBLE and still waiting on lost luggage) but to be back home is glorious. My friend is getting married so I'm here for that. To say that I want to fly back to Philadelphia would be a lie. I dont hate philly as much as I hate what it represents to me now. I have 3 more weeks when I get back and I'm holding on to Jesus for the strength I need to get through those 21 days. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's dim but at least I can see it.
